They left Belfast on Saturday 19 May to stay for a week on the Greek Island of Zante……
Saturday 19 May to Tuesday 22 May: lying on beach drinking beer and getting burned or lying on floor after too much beer and too much sun or lying on bed, face down after too much beer and too much sun on back for too long!!!
Wednesday 23 May 2007. Today final day. Started off at 6.30am local time (8.30am GMT) from Zante to catch 8am (all times are local time) ferry from there to Kilini.
10am On the coach from Kilini to Athens. Enjoying the journey and the anticipation, also catching up on some sleep after the early start.
11am. Still on the road. zzzzzzzz, snoring very gently so as not to wake the driver! zzzzzz....
12 noon. Still on the road. zzzzzzz, snoring loudly, zzzzzz.....
12.24pm. Approaching Athens, it’s just starting to rain there but our intrepid band of members don’t give a care. Marty B is already there having travelled with a tour from Ireland.
1.52pm. Our merry band of travelling Redberries have just arrived in Athens bus station and are currently sheltering from the rain. The next step is to make their way to Synagma Square which has been adopted by fans from both clubs to meet, drink, sing and generally enjoy themselves.
More text updates posted as they are received....just like we are with them isn't it.........NOT!!!!!!

During the last season we raised £1000.00 with Biddy Duffy's Man Utd Supporters Club. We would like to thank the members from both supporters clubs who helped raise this wonderful amount for the NI Childrens Hospice.
Many thanks to Joan, Val & Carol in the AIB Office for all of their hard work over the season and Jill and staff in the Ticket Office. Also to the bar staff in the Vernon Sangster Sports Hall for those lovely post & Apres match pints of Carlsberg, mmm nice! And finally, many thanks to John McCormIck our devoted bus driver and navigator for the weekend and for our lifts & drops from Birkenhead to the 'Duck' over the past season, see ya soon John!
Who stole our club banner? The club banner was displayed on the running track of the Olympic Stadium in Athens, at the end of the match a steward threw the banner over the moat to someone who was not one of us! The dasterardly felon then legged it into that grim Athenian night, while we wiled away the hours in an Athens bus station awaiting our return coach to catch the ferry to Zante. Bring back our banner or failing that, one of equal quality and sentiment to us!

You'll Never Walk Alone:
When you walk through a storm Hold your head up high and don't be afraid of the dark at the end of the storm is a golden sky and the sweet silver song of a lark
Walk on through the wind Walk on through the rain Tho' your dreams be tossed and blown Walk on, walk on With hope in your heart And you'll never walk alone You'll never walk alone

Fields of Anfield Road: (Fields of Athenry)
Outside the Shankly Gates I heard a Kopite calling Shankly they have taken you away But you left a great eleven Before you went to heaven Now it's glory round the Fields of Anfield Road.
All round the Fields of Anfield Road Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play) We had Heighway on the wing We had dreams and songs to sing Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road
Outside the Paisley Gates I heard a Kopite calling Paisley they have taken you away You led the great 11 Back in Rome in 77 And the Redmen they are still playing the same way All round the Fields of Anfield Road Where once we watched the King Kenny play (and he could play) We had Heighway on the wing We had dreams and songs to sing Of the glory round the Fields of Anfield Road

Liverbird Upon my Chest: (The Green Berets)
Here's a song about a football team The greatest team you've ever seen A team that play total Football They've won the league, Europe and all.
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
With Kenny Dalglish on the ball He was the greatest of them all And Ian Rush, four goals or two Left Evertonians feeling blue
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
Now if you go down Goodison Way Hard luck stories you hear each day There's not a trophy to be seen 'Cos Liverpool have swept them clean
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
Now on the glorious 10th of May There's laughing reds on Wembley Way We're full of smiles and joy and glee It's Everton 1 and Liverpool 3
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
Now on the 20th of May We're laughing still on Wembley Way Those Evertonians are feeling blue It's Liverpool 3 and Everton 2
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
And as we sang round Goodison Park With crying blues all in a nark They're probably crying still at Liverpool 5 and Everton nil.
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
We Remember them with pride Those mighty reds of Shankly's side And Kenny's boys of '88 There's never been a side so great
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
Now back in 1965 When great Bill Shankly was alive We're playing Leeds, the score's 1-1 When it fell to the head of Ian St John
A Liverbird upon my chest We are the men, of Shankly's best A team that plays the Liverpool way And wins the championship in May
On April 15th '89 What should have been a joyous time Ninety six Friends, we all shall miss And all the Kopites want justice (JUSTICE)
